The Hours

LP01 · 7 tracks · 24:18 · 2026

Conceived in the small hours of the morning and finished, as is tradition, well after dinner. The Hours follows the canonical Office of the Day — Matins, Lauds, Terce, Sext, None, Vespers, Compline — each rendered as an instrumental ambient meditation.

Originally composed to soundtrack the act of doing absolutely nothing in particular for an extended period of time. Has also been used for: reading, writing, falling asleep on the couch with the cat, and, on at least one occasion, lightly weeping in a kitchen.
